Thursday | CURRENT READ

Hi bookworms and non-bookworms! ^^

Welcome to my Thursday post, which I’ll talk about what I’m currently reading.

I’m currently reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I’m on page 208 now, and let me tell you, it’s super awesome so far. It’s nerdy, adventurous, funny, (give me more adjectives!). I can’t wait to continue (Why am I not reading now?). Everybody should read this book (I’m pretty sure everybody has lol this book is a hyped book and was released 4 years ago) but if you haven’t, you are missing out my friend. Here’s the synopsis:

In the year 2044, reality is an ugly place. The only time teenage Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the virtual utopia known as the  OASIS. Wade’s devoted his life to studying the puzzles hidden within this world’s digital confines, puzzles that are based on their creator’s obsession with the pop culture of decades past and that promise massive power and fortune to whoever can unlock them. When Wade stumbles upon the first clue, he finds himself beset by players willing to kill to take this ultimate prize. The race is on, and if Wade’s going to survive, he’ll have to win—and confront the real world he’s always been so desperate to escape.

I am also reading e-Paper towns by John Green.

I am on page 296 of 581 on my phone. I love the humor in this book, its a fun read.  I’m not a John Green fan but I want to read it because of the reason that everyone is reading it: the movie. Therefore, I am pretty sure again that everyone has read it, but if you havent here’s the synopsis:

Who is the real Margo?

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew…

I’m getting to the part that Margo is missing and Q went to find her with his friends at that house. Seriously I was so scared that part, it was like a thriller book. I like it though.

So those are my current reads. Thanks BookLand though, now I have my daily post routines.

I’m off to read. I’ll see you tomorrow 😉

Love,

Kimsiang

P.S.What are you currently reading?

  1. Yaaaaaay I am so glad I helped! Wasn’t it fun to organize your posts or am I the only one ‘having an orgasm’ while organizing? I just love it. Oh oh and making lists! Lists are absolutely awesome and helpful.

Btw I haven’t read any of these books but I’m sure Paper Towns will be at least decent! Can’t wait for your reviews!

  2. I enjoyed Armada and I’m looking forward to picking up RPO. I’m on a high fantasy streak at the moment with Falling Kingdoms and Snow like Ashes though!

  3. I liked the first couple of books in Falling Kingdoms, but didn’t finish the series. If you guys like high fantasy, you should definitely check out Sarah J. Maas if you haven’t already. She’s my favorite!
